Should I be keeping the fastclick cookie and the real media cookie?
And, what about the web-stat cookie?
Shouldn’t I keep some of them?
Aren’t there some cookies that save us time?
So we don’t have to reenter the same stuff over and over?
You can get rid of cookies; if you return to a site that uses them, they'll just be put back. Often they reappear without you knowing it. You probably have LOTS of tracking cookies you don't even know about. Google and download Spyware Doctor (it's free) and run it; you might be amazed at how many there are!

But, I think I should keep some of the cookies so I don't always have to re-enter the same stuff over and over. The trouble is that I don't know which cookies to keep, so I have been deleting them all.
I must tell you that I am technically challenged. And, when I try to explain what is wrong, it is a job for my boys to understand exactly what I am asking about.
I try to minimize my calls asking for help, as they are both busy. I am sure that they don't look forward to computer questions from their mom, and I can't blame them. :-)
Mom. Stop worrying about cookies. You're PC is fine. You have plenty of internet security on your computer.
If you want to worry about cookies, worry about why they always put macadamia nuts in white chocolate cookies, as if somehow the white chocolate goodness couldn't stand on its own!

Maybe the reason that they put macadamia nuts in "white chocolate" cookies is the same reason that they call it chocolate. They are confused.
