Looking at Labels.

Have You Noticed?

1. That the BAND-AID® Box has information in Braille?

2. Or that Oral-B® SATINfloss® and Oral-B® SATINtape® is made in Ireland?
(You can feel the words; "Made in Ireland" embossed on the back of the container.)

3. The Salt Content?

If you need to reduce your sodium intake, make sure you know the facts. One teaspoon of table salt has 2,325 milligrams (mg) of sodium. The Mayo Clinic recommends that a healthy adult shouldn't exceed 2,300 mg of sodium a day. The Mayo Clinic further recommends that you shouldn't exceed 1,500 mg of sodium a day if you have high blood pressure, kidney disease, diabetes; or if you're middle-aged or older - or if you are black.

One half cup of Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup contains 890mg of Sodium.

If you consume one full cup of this soup and are middle aged or older, that is more sodium that you should have in a whole day. Campbell’s® 25% Less Sodium Chicken Noodle Soup isn't much better. One half cup of this "lower sodium" soup contains 660mg sodium. If you consume one cup of this soup you are almost at the recommended daily limit.

4. On the other hand, many delicious chocolates are low sodium treats. The calorie, fat, sugar or carb contents might not be optimal if you eat lots of them, but chocolates are good for your soul. A Cadbury Dairy Milk fruit and nut bar or a MilkyWay® Midnight Bar can make you feel happy.
