Someone at meditation shared about forgetting.
Many of us worry about our memory as we age.
It was good to know that we are not alone.
Some saw it as a blessing.
…That our mind was emptying itself of the unreal.
When I first became aware of my own forgetfulness,
I was filled anxiety. The anxiety made it worse.
The busyness of my mind then prevented me from listening.
The good news is that we have nothing to fear.
I hold on to something that we were told this summer.
Whatever we lose, WE ARE STILL HERE.
Maybe it's a good thing.
